I have a 2811 with IOS Advanced Security and without AIM card. The Cisco 2800 Series supports IPSec Digital Encryption Standard (DES), Triple
DES (3DES), Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) 128, AES 192, and AES 256
cryptology without consuming an AIM slot.
I would like to use Internet Key Exchange (IKE)protocol. Is it required the AIM card to use that protocol or it can be used without AIM?
Best Regards

As you stated, the 2800 routers support IPSEC without having to use an AIM slot. If it supports IPSEC then it will support IKE as IKE is simply used in phase 1 of IPSEC negotitations.
So, in short, yes you can use IKE without an AIM.
