2901 routing

Hi,

I have a VoIP network between point A and B; in A i have UC560 , 3560 v2 PoE 48, and two Cisco IP phone connected (for now);

In B, i have 3560 and two Cisco phones. All equipment are configured and between A and B i have a straight cable from fa0/1 switch A to fa0/1 switchB.

I allreadyconfigured vlans, trunk and all stuff......IP phones are fully functionally between A and B.

Now, instead of cable between A and B i'll put a radionetwork, for long distance. I setupthistoo, but the ends are in different subnets,

so i need 2901 , right?.....or  some about L3 cappabilities of 3560?

Please help me about 2901 settings or 3560 L3....

Regards,

Adrian

Hi,

You don't necessarily need a router.  You can use the 3560 as a layer-3 device. If you just need basic routing using static routes, the 3560 is certainly capable of doing it.  If you have IP Services image, you can even almost all the protocols including OSPF and EIGRP.
