2960S Stack Question

Hello Experts,

Need your help. 

We removed a switch out of the 2960S stack of 4. When I had change request opened, I put the new config and renumbered the switch and made sure master had highest priority but for some reason config is still showing the - "switch 4 provision ws-c3750-48p" I tried to delete this line but I would get the error "%IDBs can not be removed when switch is active". Another thing, Interfaces are also showing g1/0/1 - g4/0/52 and stack has only three switches.

Please help...........switch is already in production and cant reload it.

Well not sure if you renumbered it prior to remove the stacking cables. I faced an issue like this long back (not remembering it clearly). But what i followed was

1) Disconnect the stacking cables

2) Renumbered the switch with the command switch 4 renumber 1

3) Then i issued the command no switch 4 provision

Better do this on a proper change window.

Also, could you please provide me the output of show switch neighbors
