2960X Netflow Lite - sampler rate

Hello everybody,

can someone please explain the background of the sampling rate for netflow-lite on 2960X ?

As far as I know you can adjust the sampling rate from 1:32 to 1:1022.

So far I got it!

But what is the purpose to raise the sampling rate higher thane 1:32 ?

Won´t be 1:32 always be the best value as most packets will be processed ?

The purpose is to get more precisse result from neflow. But in that case you'd better use netflow without sampling...
