Hi Everyone,
Does anyone know if it is possible to get a 3200 series router with 2 optical interfaces? According to the data sheet, it is possible to get a MARC with 1 SFP port. Can I install more than 1 MARC in a 3200 chassis?
Thanks,
Frank

Hey Frank!
How are you doing?
C3271MARC-FO-TP router card contains one Gigabit Ethernet fiber-optic interface. Not sure if you can install 2 cards.

Hey man, thanks for the EoL info, I hadn't seen that.
From what I gather, you can't install more than one MARC in the chassis supplied by cisco. You can buy ruggedised chassis' from other vendors however.

Hey Frank,
I agree. You can only put 1 MARC-FO-TP per chassis.
Regarding the EoL, it's strange that Cisco did not specify the appliance model to upgrade to. It sounds like this will be the last "ruggedized" appliance.
If you don't mind me asking, where are you guys planning to deploy the 3200?
