So I perform a show mac-address and i see the mac address of all the devices attached and the port they are attached to, is there a way to find out what the ip's of the devices and which port they are attached to?
Thanks Greatly!

Go to the device that is the gateway for the subnet and do a show arp | inc [mac address]. You could also put an IP (or DHCP) on an interface on the particular vlan (on the 3550) and do the above command.
Hope that helps.

Thanks, that worked. Some are come with blank responses even though the mac is there does that mean it's just an old entry?
Thanks

Ping the broadcast address and that should repopulate the table.
