I have a switch with no image on it at all, after starting it up and issuing the command "Set" which is supposed to list the environmental variables it displays a couple of pages of random symbols from different character sets along with a couple of the standard environmental variables (such as BAUD, BOOT etc). Looks like some how the initial rom has been loaded with garbage, is there a way to reset this back to default like reloading the bios of the switch, how and where do I get the bios file if its available? I've looked everywhere. I've tried re flashing the switch via xmodem to get an image on it but this does not reset the switch fully and there is still rubbish in the rom and it interferes with the function of the switch.
