3750 stack IP Services and IP Base

I have a 3750G stack that is running IP Services. I just introduced a 3750X into the stack.

I checked the licensing on the 3750X and it says the IP Services license is only good for 8 weeks.

What will happen to the 3750X in 8 weeks?

Will it stop working or will it continue to work but only at an IP Base level?

Hi,

First of all one thing is that all switches in a STACK family must be continue with the same ios version.
The 3750X you may need to keep with IP Services image.

The are all running the same version of code 12.2.(55)SE3.

OK, You need to upgrade the IP Services license.
But make sure all switches running either IP Base or IP services image.

After 8 weeks 3750X will fall to ipbase license if you have that.Otherwise it will fall to lanbase license.

I think stack will continue to work with ipservices license,as long as 3750G is the master of stack.Stack can be booted if the license of switches are different,but only the license of master gets applied on whole stack.
