If the wrong IOS was put on a 3750v2 and it is in a continuous loop. How can you because the hardware does not suppport firmware. How can you put the switch back in a state where you can install the proper firmware ?

Hey Anna,

If the only image still exists on the flash, you can crash the device into rommon and manually boot that image.  This can be done in the following the password recovery :

We can just skip the step to change to rename the configuration file.  But we should be able to see if the old image exists.

If the old image does not exist the only way to recovery would be to xmodem an image on to the 3750.  You can do that by following this link:
