3850 Flow control questions

Hi Community,

I have some questions on flow control, more in particular on a 3850 switch.

- Can someone clarify the difference between: "flowcontrol receive on" and "flowcontrol receive desired"?
The config guide of the 3850 does not help a lot.

- I have configured "flowcontrol receive on" on an interface but I see the following output, can someone clarify why this is happening?
   Why do I see "Recieve admin" to on and "FlowControl oper" to off?

show int gi 1/0/38:

input flow-control is off, output flow-control is unsupported 

show flowcontrol interface gigabitEthernet 1/0/38:
