Hi, Can any one explain if below two models has builtin 1 G electrical Copper ports?  or only SFP Base modules supported, means it will have empty slots and additional copper or fiber sfp need to be bought?

actually i am looking for 3850x model with builtin copper and support of 8x10G module.

WS-C3850-12X48U-S
Stackable 12 100M/1G/2.5G/5G/10G and 36 1 G UPoE ports, 1 network module slot, 1100 W power supply

WS-C3850-24XU-E
Stackable 24 100M/1G/2.5G/5G/10G UPoE ports, 1 network module slot, 1100-W power supply

Hi.

I might be wrong, but I think it means the speed capability of the port.  Eg Capable of 100Mbps, 1Gbps, 2.5Gbps ...

Yes, those are builtin copper ports (as far as I know there's no "PoE over copper SFP").

Also, -S and -E are available for both models, meaning IP Base or IP Services feature set (so there would be a total of four 3850 models with builtin copper ports and support for the 8x10G uplink module).

what does this portion means ? 12 100M/1G/2.5G/5G/10G

it also contain 1G

Those are Multigigabit Ethernet ports - you can, of course, connect such a port to some 1G device and let it auto negotiate or manually set speed, as shown for example in slide 11 of this presentation:

Wow that was a good read :)
