I have a 4506 (CatOS, WS-X4013 Sup.).
8.4(10)GLX SW version
This chassis currently has 2 of the following copper blades as well...
WS-X4448-GB-RJ45 (Qty. - 2)
I need to add a blade for additional copper ports...10/100 is fine for this situation..
Yes, I know this is an EOS switch/sup/etc...However, I have some spare blades
that are
WS-X4548-GB-RJ45V
Will these blades work in this switch is my question...If not, I guess we are going buy
some "used" 4448....
I have scoured the Cisco website for a 4500 blade compatibility w/o any luck....
Any help would be appreciated...
Thanks

Wow... the sup II was announced EoL in 2004!!! Niece piece of antiquary you own
I tried to check in our db to see the supported hw for that engine but unfortunately all pages have been removed and/or archived and I could not find anything.
You just need to plug that LC and see if it is recognized.

Riccardo

Yes those will work ... Check release notes for catos 8.X . Riccardo dont laugh we still have about 80 Cat4006 chassis running even though they are end of life. :-)
