<p>We have a 6509 with a gigabit blade.</p>
<p>We have two VMWare servers hosted on the blade port 32 and 34.</p>
<p>Server on port 32 is doing a disk to disk copy to server on port 34.</p>
<p>There are no no errors or drops, but a high number of "pause outputs" on both interfaces.</p>
<p>The "pause outputs" would indicate congestion.</p>
<p>There does seem to be some random problems with some of the file copies.</p>
<p>Could there be a potential problem with the throughput that could be helped by moving one of the servers to a different port that is not on the same ASIC?</p>
