6800 ports not coming up

Hope someone can help.

I've got a pair of GLC-SX-MMD SFP's in a 6800 (also tried in a 2960).  

Connecting through 5m OM3 fibers.

to an Intel E10GSFPSR dual speed 1Gb/10Gb SFP.

The server side shows the ports active in both OS and the Intel dual port NIC LED's for connection.

However Cisco side just will show nothing.  It shows the SFP in the port.  I've got light at both sides through the fibres.

Any ideas?

Can you hard set the port on the switch side to Gig and try again?

Also, just for testing, you may want to swap the stands on one side of the fiber.

Hi,  Already tried that, at both ends.

It connects fine on 10G fibre, and over twinax.

I can only assume at this moment it's the GLC-SX-MMD SFP's.  The older GLX-SX-MM SFP's connect fine at 1Gbps.
