Hi all
If I configure 2 vlans on my switch with ip say 172.30.1.x/24 and 172.30.2.x /24 will this cause any kind of overlap error ?

Hi Carl,
No this will not because 172.30.1.x/24 and 172.20.2.x/24 are 2 different subnets.
But if you try to assign 172.30.1.x/16 and 172.30.2.x/16 you will get address overlapping error message because these are 2 same subnets.
HTH, if yes please rate the post.
