Hello,

I would like to help me with the configuration of the ADSL Cisco 857 router. I want to use the IOS command line instead of the web interface. The line is an ISDN, so I may use a back up line.

Is the password of the ADSL config in an encrypted form? If not, how am I going to configure the router?

I believe the 857 ADSL interface is for analog (POTS) lines and not for ADSL over ISDN.

If you have an ISDN line then you should be looking at the 836/876 routers.
