What are the Align-Err and Runts meaning when I got the error counts by show port command. And if I got these error counts, how can I solve the problem. Many thanks.
Align-err and Runts are generally caused by duplex issues on the ports. Please make sure that both the sides are either hardcoded or set to auto to eliminate any such issues. You can try hardcoding the speed/duplex on switchports if it is set to auto.
