Good Afternoon Folks,
I noticed another thread from 4 years ago talking about a similar issue here.
I have a new building with a mix of new 2960'x both stacked and stand alone across 4 closets. We have a 3750 as the head in. Out of ~60 Arecont IP Cameras, more than 45 are working fine mixed across all of these switches. The remainder are having an odd issue where they initially register their MAC, come up on the network and ping out for maybe 2 minutes, then they fall off and the MAC vanishes. This updates as "Incomplete" in ARP after it falls offline. They share the same subnet. The only setting on the individual ports are PortFast.
I'd also outline that after the MAC falls off, the port still registers as "Connected" and shows Power draw.
I've used Local SPAN to capture packets and it seems the Camera just stops responding to any requests.
I've been informed by another technicians test that at least 1 or 2 of these devices register and stay up overnight on other hardware. Outside of our environment. Which is also supported in the other post.
The initial registering and falling off confirms no IP conflicts as of yet. PoE is not oversubscribed, and in many cases not even close. Cameras are rated for standard PoE.
My current course is following the other posts advice and getting them RMAed(Arecont also advised this). However, I'm looking to expand my troubleshooting at this level, as well as evaluate / confirm general network health.
My next step is to try an HP ProCurve and another 2960x to see if anything changes.
I haven't seen certified cable results yet, but I'm being told it all checks out... for what that is worth.
I suppose I'm just looking for ideas, thoughts on the logical side to consider.
Models of Cameras: Others of these same models are connecting fine. Firmware is the same across models.

please post some of the portconfig on the switch (or general config)
are ip-adresses dhcp or fixed?
dhcp: does the dhcp server log shows reqests are received?
fixed: check subnetmask + gateway on the device
( some ip stack implementations behave weird when they cannot reach the gateway).
when pinging the device is this from the same switch+ subnet or different?

sorry missed this:
- The only setting on the individual ports are PortFast.
-> also add "switchport mode access" to the port config
portfast only works on access ports, but if the switch needs to negotiate trunk/access first then it may take too long for the client device to complete the dhcp handshake
