ASR 1001-x 10GE port license

Hello

I start a 60-day temporary license for 10g interface
Licensing expired in a few hours ( 24 hours )

A permanent license has been ordered and will take several weeks

what happen in 

How can I activate a temporary license again? I have no problem deleting / restarting the router  ?

Changing date and time did not solved problem .

What happens to the interface after licensing ends? Does it stop working or can not change?

Hello,

don't reload the router. When the evaluation license expires, nothing will happen and everything will continue to function, but you are legally required to purchase a permanent license. 

If you reload the device, it will default to whatever license was installed before the evaluation license was enabled...which in your case was probably nothing at all. You cannot reactivate the evaluation license by reloading the router...

It might very per IOS, and/or the fact you've already enabled an evaluation license, but when I had configured ASR-1001-X 10G interfaces, I could do so without the permanent license yet installed. I.e. it appeared for this feature, the system worked on the ye olde "trust system".

Hi,

In addition to what others said, the license usually applies to the whole router (I know it is this way for 1002x) and not just the 10Gig interface. So, as long as the box has a permanent license, you should be good to go. Also, if you issue "sh lice" and you see something like this, you should be fine
