Hello,
I have a Layer 2 network with more than 10 switches with 7 different VLAN IDs. We plan to install a teleconferrencing system between 4 of the location in the network. I plan to put the related hardware (cameras, videoconferencing terminal etc) in a scesific VLAN and I was wondering if it is any way to assign priority to this specific VLAN ID in order to fullfill the video data requirements (low loss, low jitter, low delay). The other alternative is to mark the data in each access switch and with specific class-map assign the data with this CoS more priority. In this case (and because I have never configured class maps) which is the best method?
Thanks in advance.
