How do I tell SmartPort that the device is a VG224?

Sorry,i thought VG224 refers to (vlan1 - native and vlan6 - voice) ..It might now work...Can you let me know what is VG224..Is this cisco's device...And on which ios version you want this to work ?

The VG224 is Cisco;s Analog Voice Gateway.  It is a 24 port analog gatway for analog phones.  We want to connect this device to a Cisco 2960 running ver 12.2(55)SE1.

No macro will be applied for this device...If in the "sh cdp nei",this device is detected,and only H bit is set,Last Resort macro will be applied.
