Bell Fibe TV streaming problem on the network

Hi All,

Anyone has problem with Bell Fibe TV on a network?

Topology:  Bell Fibe modem is connected to an edge switch, that edge switch is connected to the Core switch and that Core switch is connected to many others edge switch that has IPTV receivers.  The Bell Fibe modem and all other IPTV receivers are on a dedicated VLAN.  The link between edge and core switch are using fiber and has enough bandwdith.

The problem reported by the users:  Sometime, not consistent, there is a blue screen with error message saying network problem...  and to solve the problem, the users change the channel and the stream is fine again.

My findings:

Eliminating unnecessary Topology change by configuring portfast on the switchport that is directly connected to an end device.  As I notices that TC results clearing mac address table on all switch and for all vlan and then it cause unicast flooding.  Yes, the network has also a vlan for security camera and that mean multiple cameras video stream is flooding until the switch relearn the video server and that cause a peak on the bandwidth.

But even there is no TC, there is still have the Bell blue screen.  Anyone has any suggestion?

Thanks

William
