best LAN/WAN monitoring software

Hi all

Im looking into network monitoring,

At the moment we use snmpc, we have to input manually all the equipment, we get traps etc to this also.

Can anyone tell me what the best and most recommended network monitoring software there is out there, easy to use, has a diagram of the equipment like snmpc etc

whats the favourite out there ?

2. EMC SMARTS ( Paid)

3. HP Overview ( Paid)

4. WhatsUp ( Free/Paod)

5. Solarwinds ( Free)

6. OpenNMS ( free)

7. MRTG ( Free)

8. Cacti ( Free)

Probably there are a lot many others and it depends which suits your needs.
