we have two routers, established as ebgp neighbor, now bgp state is active, but both router's connected interface is up, so why it is showing active?

Could be a number of things and you have not given us much to go on.
Are the peer IPs on the physical interfaces, is there any filtering of packets etc.
You could try a debug to see what is going on.

Hi,
Are they using their connected physical interfaces to create the peering or are they using any loopback? probably update-source command is missed.
Could you please share the BGP peering configuration and provide more details?
Thank you.
