BRI to BRI Connection

I'm interested in practicing BRI configurations and was wondering if it's possible to create a BRI to BRI direct connection in a lab. I'm presuming not, but thought I'd ask. Just one router with a BRI WIC connected directly to another router's BRI port using a phone cable. If it is possible, are there any special configurations for the routers? Do I have to "cross-over" the phone cord or something?

You will need a ISDN simulator. They used to sell these all the time on EBAY when ISDN used to be on the CCIE LAB. Even the ones that are very simple are not cheap boxes.
