Hello!
I have a number of 1841 routers as part of my lab. All worked perfectly until yesterday, when one suddenly failed to boot. The output is below.
I have been unable to find the exact same issue in any of the forums.

I understand the most common cause of this behaviour is a corrupt IOS image - however swapping the flash with a working router still gives the same result. Similarly, placing the 'corrupt' flash in another router boots without issue. I am therefore led to believe it is the router at fault rather than the IOS.
Is there anything else I can try to get this up and running or is this likely a dead unit?
Many thanks for your help!
Chris.

If you have a support contract for this router it is worth opening a case with Cisco TAC. Otherwise, given the symptoms that you describe, I believe that it is a dead unit.
