C2960X-48FPS-L random network link drops

I have 5 - C2960X-48FPS-L switches recently installed and we are seeing random network link drops thoughout the network on a daily basis. Sometimes it's the same port, sometimes it's a port that has never bounced before. We are seeing this across all 5 switches and across devices that are POE and those that are not. The POE devices never lose power. The log is below.

I have run a test cable tdr and all shows normal. Those results are below as well.  I have had the cables certfied as good as well. This happens on our Voip phones as well as regualr data ports.  Any help would be apprecialted.

A quick note, we just installed these switches and went from a 10/100 Adtran POE to these. I have been moving the ports that are bounding back to the Adtran switch and the up/down issue does away.

When someone logs in to a computer (and logs out), you'll see the same down/up messages.

Why would I see a network link drop on a logon or logoff? The link is a physical connection, right?

That's how the NIC behaves.

On the ports:
int x/x
no logging event link-status

That will negate these msgs being logged in the buffer

But the problem is I am actually dropping network link on IP Phones and dropping calls. I am losing the link to workstations and it is causing issues.

 

I have opened a Tac case with Cisco.

Apologies mis interpreted your OP.

So do these ports power the phones and do the workstations hang off the phones?

If so, Are the ports configured correctly for the power consumption and qos markings orignating from the phones?

Do the worksations drop off when physcaly connected without a phone?

Hey Paul,

 

  So some of the ports are phones, some are PC's, some are printers. When the link drops, the power does not drop of the phone, just the link and it is down for about 6 seconds. Long enough for the phone system to lose contact with the phone and the phone has to reregister. It also happens on printers, but it is not noticed on the printer as it takes an extra couple of seconds to print the document, if someone happens to be printing when it disconnects.

Power consumption is less that 50% on the switch.  The dropoff is across all devices. Most are not noticed on the workstations as it is quick.

What is the exact IOS version the stack is running on?

While I'm trawling through the known bugs for 15.2(2)E6, may I request if you can provide the complete output to the following commands:
1. sh interface Gi1/0/22 contr; and
2. sh interface Gi1/0/3 contr

Are the issues only happening to wired clients connected to phones?  I mean if the PCs are connected straight, is the problem the same?

This happens even to ports that jsut have printers on them. I did haveto move a couple of the devices to different switches so they users could work. Below is the output from a Sh Gi1/0/11 which still has a printer hooked up to it and it just went down got 5 seconds a couple minutes ago.
