C3750g regarding Provision/Stacking

Hello,

i have an 3750G and it is provisioned with Switch ID 1 and the Stack is ready.

I want to install the Switch as a Standalone without Stacking. How can i configure this ? When i configure no switch 1 provision the command is beeing rejected because the Switch is physically present ?

I have already do the unset commands in the Bootloader but nothing helps, the Interfaces ar always in stacking notation "1/0/1"...

Hi.

You cannot remove switch 1, as it is the standalone switch itself.

A standalone Cat3750 will always have the 1/0/x notation for interfaces.

Hello Ingolf,

thanks for your answer. When we received the new switch there was the standard notation g0/1 available. There must be a way to reconfigure it or ? The stacking notation wouldnt be very nice in our Networking Tools...
