Hello,

Recently we did experience on two separate  c4500 platforms same issue with Linecard:

FPGA: 15.1(1r)SG18,

Image: 03.11.05.E 

Syslog:

  %C4K_IOSMODPORTMAN-6-MODULEOFFLINE:Module8isoffline

 %C4K_LINECARD-2-UNCORRECTABLESOFTDATAPATHFPGAERROR: Module 8 memory inconsistency detected in Data Path FPGA

Therefore, I am wondering someone else did experience recently  a similar issue on c4500 platforms.

Thank you.

This could be one option.

However, in our case Cisco's explanation is tat most of these sorts of errors are caused by electrostatic or magnetic environmental conditions.

Where memory chips may experience background radiation such as electromagnetic interference (EMI) or Electrostatic Discharge (ESD).

And will be resolved by a software reload which is what happens in our case or by hardware reset.
