Hello,
We plan to setup c8000v (not as SD-WAN) in AWS (PAYG), but can't find information about ec2 type and throughput relations.
I just found in documentation (https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/routers/catalyst-8000v-edge-software/datasheet-c78-744101.html) next -
The Catalyst 8000V requires the following from the virtualized server hardware:

I do not think there IS a relation between EC2 type and throughput
=> The Cisco Catalyst 8000V is licensed based on throughput, feature set, and term
The Cisco IOS XE Software of the Catalyst 8000V offers numerous throughput options. Tier-based licensing options were made available starting with IOS XE release 17.7.1. Prior to this release, all IOS XE 17.6.1 and ealier, utilize bandwidth ladder options 10, 50, 100, 250, and 500 Mbps, and 1, 2.5, 5, and 10 Gbps. Upon activation of a particular option, the Catalyst 8000V limits its aggregate bidirectional throughput to that option. For Cisco SD-WAN, refer to the Cisco DNA Subscription Ordering Guide
To obtain full traffic throughput, you must obtain a software license for Cisco Catalyst 8000V. Otherwise, the throughput is limited to 10 Mbps in the autonomous mode and 250Mbps in the controller mode.
but Deploying Cisco Catalyst 8000V Edge Software on Amazon Web Services - Deploying Cisco Catalyst 8000V on AWS [Cisco Catalyst 8000V Edge Software] - Cisco
does not mention something similar, only for the AWS Transit Gateway Solution describes a configuration step to specify
ParameterDescription
C8000V Throughput Requirements | The required throughput for the Cisco Catalyst 8000V instance. This determines the instance type to be launched. The default value is 2 x 500 Mbps. |
I guess in this step a license is installed to allow for bandwith

Yeah, but this documentation relate to the Google Cloud, for AWS I think it's could be different.
I will use Pay As You Go licensing with embedded Advantage license. As I understand this is the maximum throughput license.
AWS propose c5.large like vendor recommended, but also there are more powerful ec2 in the list.
When I choose c1000v there are some documentation in AWS Market -
But for c8000v not. So if I choose c5.large could I obtain the maximum IPSec throughput (for example)?
