Hi all

I've two C9500-24Y4C-A (HA) using release Bengaluru 17.06.04.
I've stacked it with Q.TY 4 SFP-10G-SR= (2+2) in stackwise virtual fashion.
Surely, in the future, I should do an upgrade of the SVL link from TenGigabitEthernet to FortyGigabitEthernet.
The job will be done in production environment but in maintenance window.
So, my question is : Is there a method experienced yet ?
If the answer is not, I've a method to proposal never tested, It is only a my idea

Following my steps:

1) Save the configuration on usbflash or flash memory
2) Isolate the C9500 from the network
3) Turn off the active router (the standby switch should recover the active role, but for simplicity of these steps I call him as standby.
4) Delete the 10GB configuration SVL link from the standby switch and configure the 40GB as new SVL link.
5) Connect phisically the fiber between the two switches
6) Save configuration on standby switch
7) Turn off the standby switch
Turn on the active switch, (It should recover the active role)
9) Delete the 10GB configuration SVL link from the active switch and configure the 40GB as new SVL link.
10) Save the configuration
12) Reload the active switch
11) Turn on the standby switch
12) Verify that the stackwise-virtual works
13) Reconnect the whole stack to the network
14) Verify the interface are up, routing table and so on
15) end

Thanks in advance for every yours contribute.

Have a nice day
Fabrizio
