Can I upgrade cisco 3750 switch from 12.2(53r) to 15.2(1)E2 without any issues?

Hi All,

 

Can I upgrade cisco 3750 switch from 12.2(53r) to 15.2(1)E2 without any issues?

Or is there any upgrade path to follow to reach 15.2(1)E2.

"without any issues" is an understatement if you are talking about IOS train 15.2(1)E.   I would recommend you test this IOS on a stand-alone (fully configured) 3750 and see for yourself.  As for me, I downgraded to 15.0(2)SE4 because the entire 15.2(1)E train is riddled with CPU bugs.  

 

Another thing, what exact model of 3750?  If you have a 3750 with only 16 mb flash, then the highest IOS you can upgrade to is 12.2(55)SE train.  This train, 12.2(55)SE9, is deemed as the most stable IOS.
