can we access router if it is this situation

Hi Please see the below. If the router lose connection to tacacs server, do you think if using cisco1 can access the router if we only has cisco1 password?

aaa new-model

aaa authentication login default group tacacs local-case line enable

aaa authentication enable default group tacacs enable

it works fine, provided you have the VTY or CON configured as below:

 

vty 0 4

login authentication default

transport input all

You are right. I just tested it, and it can work.

 

when i tried to login, the router request to enter username and its password, but it does not request enable password. i wonder why it does not request enable password
