Ok, this is going to get complicated...
I am currently working on a Packet Tracer lab, and I cannot get my DHCP server to issue an address to the pcs. Each PC is in its own VLAN, one VLAN 55 and the other 57. My main router is set up as a DHCP server, and I have a second router working as a relay. Connected to the second router are two switches leading to one pc each. Trunking is working between the switches and the relay router, and I can ping the addresses of the router subinterfaces from both switches, so I know trunking is working.
However, the DHCP server is unable to communicate with the two pcs. I have tried pinging from the DHCP router to the ip addresses of the subinterfaces, but it fails. I currently have the ip helper-address on the relay router set as the ip address of the serial interface of the DHCP router, but its not working. The DHCP server can ping the serial interface of the relay router, but not the subinterfaces/vlans.
Everything seems to be configured correctly, except for the IP helper address, but I cannot figure out what I've done wrong in regards to the helper address. I have tried everything I can think of...
Does anyone have any advice on what to check or enable? I'm not looking for answers, just advice on where to look.

Hello,
--> I have tried pinging from the DHCP router to the ip addresses of the subinterfaces
This is most likely where your problem is. There needs to be IP connectivity between the DHCP server and the Vlan SVIs. What are you using for connectivity between the routers, static rotuing, or dynamic routing ?
