Alright, so I got a 2926g that was recycled so I am trying to set this up for our LAN. I have reset about 30+ routers in the last few years but I cannot seem to get this switch to cooperate... The usual procedure of accessing rommon with ctrl+break will not work, the switch sais control-C to stop autoboot but neither C or break will stop the boot. This switch does NOT have a “mode” button either. It has been rebooted over-and-over with different combinations and timing but it just wont stop the boot process. I also tried 3 different keyboards just in case that was the problem. It does have kb input, after it boots I can try entering a user/pass but I obviously don’t have either.
Is there a hard reset option like shorting out pins on the board?
