Hi,
I have a stack of Catalyst 3750E switches.
IOS image :c3750e-ipbasek9-mz.122-55.SE3.bin
I have been seeing multiple occurance of the below message in the switch logs.
"Failed to send hrpc non blocking message"
I could not find a relevant reference for this message in the Cisco.com.
Can anybody explain this message and is there any way to get rid of this.
Thanks a lot.
Siby

Hi Siby,
the message is just a symptom of some other root cause.
Do you also have tracebacks in the log?
Do you see the message popping up in which circumstances (configuring a port - after a link flaps etc)?

Dear Mr.Simoni,
Many thanks for the reply.
Yes we had some Fiber Link issues(Threshold Violation Low Rx). which is resolved now.
Let me check again by restarting the stack if the message re-appears.
Thanks,
Siby

Did you ever find the solution to this? I have a 3750x stack tht receives:
Mar 29 21:18:58: Failed to send hrpc non blocking message
Mar 29 21:18:58: Failed to send hrpc non blocking message
Mar 29 21:18:58: Failed to send hrpc non blocking message
I haven't been able to find anything on the web about it.

Hi,
In my case, the issue was due to the flappy fiber link. (dust accumulated)
when I solved that, these Messeges stopped appearing..
As Mr.Simoni suggested above, the msg is a symptom to some other root cause..

Siby Thomas
