Dear Gurus,
I've 5 Cisco Cat Express 500 switches with lost administration passwords, and of course I can not get onto them. I've followed the instructions to enter setup mode but am not being issued an IP address from the DHCP of the switch. I have read a few posts discussion how this works fine in XP SP 2 but no Windows platform thereafter (we run Windows 7), with no resolution posted. Frankly I'm stook as I don't want to try set up a machine with XP simply to connect to, and reset, our switches.
Has anyone a resolution / workaround to this problem which is feasible?
