Catalyst 2960 PoE-24 not working

Hi All,

My C-2960 PoE-24 switch is not working. when i power on the switch , all the LED's ( SYST,RPS,STAT,DUPLX,SPEED,PoE) are in amber color.

When i connect devices to the  fast ethernet port the port led is also in amber color. When i connect this switch using console port and accessing via putty its shows a blank page.

Here  am attaching the picture of Switch LED.

Please help me to sort out this issue.

Sounds like a major hardware fault. If you have maintenance, open a TAC case for replacement.

so there is a master and backup switches in the stack , it shouldn't matter whether its in master or backup as logically its 1 unit 1 switch when bundled together , I would definitely replace cabling etc as its showing as a layer 1 issue ,  and also compare the working no working ios versions

the master will be the switch that has its master LED lit or if you go to the command line and do

show switch it will show you
