I Bought a Catalyst 3650 (WS-C3650-48PQ-S) on Ebay and got it setup, had everything working and decided to try the WebUI out, it worked fine after some configuring, however I decided to make the system statistics refresh interval quicker, 1 specifically, and it all just froze up, graphs stopped working, navigation stopped working, everything just grinded to a halt with it refreshing so frequently. Is there a way to reset the WEBUI config back to defaults with CLI, or specifically change the refresh rate back to something manageable for the system? I did a factory restart and reconfigured the Host Name, IP, etc; but when i went to use the WebUI it still wouldn't load fully.
Thanks for any insight

gDay to u. The issue happens because the WebUI on a Catalyst 3650 is not built to handle such a short refresh interval. When u set it to one second, the switch’s CPU becomes overloaded and the WebUI freezes. Doing a factory reset doesn’t always fix this since the WebUI settings are stored in flash, not only in the running configuration.
So of course, to fix it, u need to clear out the WebUI files from flash and let the switch recreate them. After that, u can re-enable the WebUI and it will start fresh with default settings. Just avoid setting the refresh rate too low, because the hardware can’t keep up with that kind of load. Because most people simply stick with CLI, since the WebUI is known to be unstable under heavy use.
hope it helps and PEACE!

I've Deleted /WebUi_Helper directory and power cycled the switch, and it didn't get rebuilt. Would i have to do a factory restart?
