We have a bunch of old stuff on the network than needs to be replaced or upgraded. Some of our 6500s are using the SUP720-3B, and we're considering upgrading to the VS-2T-10G. The white paper indicates that the 2T SUP is backwards compatible for the 67xx line cards, but then it mentions swapping out daughter cards. So my question is as follows:
Is the 2T Sup Engine backwards compatible with the 67xx line cards the way it ships, or do I need to purchase an additional daughter card to make sure that it will function with the existing 67xx line cards?
In case it matters, here is a listing of some of the line cards:
WS-X6748-GE-TX CEF720 w/WS-F6700-CFC
WS-X6748-SFP CEF720 w/WS-F6700-CFC
WS-X6724-SFP CEF720 w/WS-F6700-CFC
Thanks

According to the Q&A, it is compatible:

There is also an option to upgrade CFC to DFC.

The sup2T will work with 67xx cards with CFCs or DFC4s. The one problem card is the 6708, which has a non-changable DFC3.
