Please tell me what is mean by catalyst switch?
Cisco switches called Catalyst Switch? it can also L3 switch?

I agree with Reza, Catalyst is just the name of Cisco Ethernet Switches, the difference with Catalyst and the old Cisco switches are: the software, the old switches were using the CatOS and the current switches are using IOS, IOS XE.

Other difference is the hardware, the new ones are more robust switches, high availability, high capacity, innovation, etc.
On the following link you will find most of the Catalyst switches, the new series 3650, 3850, 6800 and 9000 are not included and probably others either.

Catalyst is just the name of the platform series. And yes, they can be L3 as well.
