Dear Forum Members,
I am new at the Cisco World and want to dive into it, because for my Media Installations i am searching for a Switch with
8-10 Ports,
4 Ports of POE,
it should be fanless or very quiet because of in room installation,
it should be able to create VLANs,
and it should be able to work as an DHCP Server in at least one VLAN.
Does the Switch named above, comply this needs?
Otherwise: Could you give me some advice please, which Switch with the best value and smallest Size does fit to these needs?
Thank you very much for your kind help.

Hello @Fabian Emele
One option is the Cisco SG250-08HP switch. It has 8 ports, with 4 of them providing PoE, is fanless, can create VLANs, and can act as a DHCP server in at least one VLAN. It also has advanced features like Quality of Service (QoS) and Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP), which can help optimize your network performance.
-- easy to manage and provide reliable performance, making them suitable for your media installations. Ultimately, the best switch for your needs will depend on your specific requirements and budget.
