Changing a 3560 cisco switch from a layer 2 devices to a layer 3 device

I need to change a Cisco 3560 series 48 POE switch. From a layer 2 device to a layer 3 device. How do I do this?

Besides what Andrew has noted, also keep in mind what dynamic routing protocols are available depend on the installed IOS feature set. Base images only support static routing, RIP routing and EIGRP stubs(?).
