In windows server 2008 r2, when i add new PC into DC revived below error
"Changing the Primary domain DNS name of the computer to "failed.
the name will remain "abc.com"
The error was:
The specified server cannot perform the requested operation.
I have found some method handle the problem from Microsoft, but i can't fix it now.
Because my system use Vlan range throuht layer 3 sw cisco:
Vlan 10(server): 192.167.1.0/24 --> DNS: 192.167.1.5
Vlan 12 (user): 192.167.11.0/24.
if so vlan 10 with over IP when join domain haven't any problem happening.
any difference Vlan join domain both to error happening above.
But actually this error not effect join domain process, after I ignore this error process still successfully.
Because I using 3560 SW and access-list, I don't know may be ACL block any port in domain processing.How to do check out?
any who can give me know what happening my system?
