Cisco 2960 switch port leds are glowing amber without physical connection with these ports

Hi,

We have Cisco 2960 48 ports TTL switch. some users are connected with this switch and some are not. So the ports which are not connected physically with cables, are showing amber glowing LEDs and even these ports are not disabled, err-disabled. We also face frequently issue of err-disabled with this switch. We have checked physical connectivity from switch to user end, found it is fine.

No, system LED is not amber. It is green and stable.
