Cisco 3850 stack-switch weird behavior

i had 3 switches and ( -2 were in bundle mode ver 16 os) and ( one was in install mode ver9 os) and it had old version than the other 2

i followed the steps in these video:

and when i rebooted the switch it changed from install mode to bundle mode, why is that?

i turned off the other switches before the upgrade process, because i was getting error message mismatch software

and it didnt accept install command but it worked after i turned the ver 16 switches off

can anyone explain this behavior?

Hi,

I didn't watched your videos, but probably you didn't changed the bootvariable to the appropriate packages.conf file (it will be saved as cat3000...conf and you have should rename it).

The second point, you have to use "request platform software ..." command in newer IOS-XE versions
