Bad file magic number is usually an indication of a corrupt file.
Is there more than one iOS in the flash?
if so, the first image listed is probably corrupt. Try booting from second image.
boot command boots the first image in flash memory.

"File has bad file magic number".
This error typically indicates the file is corrupted, I suggest to download it again from cisco.com and re-upload on the switch.
