Hi, I have a question regarding operating temperature of the two stacked Cisco C3750X-24T-S.
They are installed in the closed enclosure APC NetShelter AR2100BLK 42U.
The tempreature in the server room about 22 °C, in the enclosure (front) 24 °C, the temperature of the stacked switches is 32 °C:
C3750X#sh env all
FAN 1 is OK
FAN 2 is OK
FAN PS-1 is OK
FAN PS-2 is OK
SYSTEM TEMPERATURE is OK
System Temperature Value: 32 Degree Celsius
System Temperature State: GREEN
Yellow Threshold : 46 Degree Celsius
Red Threshold : 60 Degree Celsius
I just wonder is this a normal operating temperature for the switch? I know about data sheet -5ºC to +45ºC, up to 5,000 feet (1500 m), but I have some doubts about long and happy life of these switches working hard in hot environment
What temperature of the environment in the server room and the switch itself do you have? How long are they running without failures?
Thanks a lot in advance for the reply!
Regards,
Victor
