Cisco Catalyst 2960G

    As Salamu Aleykum va Rahmatullah

I have an issue about  Cisco Catalyst 2960G.

Switch does not bootup.

When I power on the switch,  only SYST LED is staying constantly green. Nothing does not work, even mode button.

I know that at switch's POST process the SYST LED have to blink. But SYST LED does not blink.

What cause problem?

What process switch does before POST?

Need your help.

Hi,

If the switch does not boot at all, you most likely have a bad unit.  If it is under warranty and you have a SmartNet contract, RMA it to Cisco for replacement.
