Cisco Catalyst 4003 moduels

Hi all i look after some old mail servers that have old catalyst 4003

can up grade the moduels from ws-x4148-rj  to ws-4424 i have a heap of them i can use

What is your supervisor engine?

Besides, the 4148 is a 48-port blade while the 4424 is a 24-port blade.

and card is a ws x4424-gb-rj45 24

Whatever card you are going to use, it won't make a difference because the line card slot speed is most likely to be <6Gbs, half duplex.  You are currently having oversubscribing each slot.

i all so have in the same rack with a catalyst 5000 series is this older than 4003 ?

i power it up still works no one in the building tell me  how old the system is

to it looks like it been runing for a long time by its self all dusty the room is like walking back in time

no one new the server was there they tought it was the server in the main office LoL
